中芯国际集成电路制造有限公司 ("中芯国际",纽约证交所股票代码: SMI,香港联合交易所股票代码: 981),是世界领先的集成电路晶圆代工企业之一,也是中国内地规模最大、技术最先进的集成电路晶圆代工企业。中芯国际向全球客户提供0.35微米到45/40纳米晶圆代工与技术服务。中芯国际总部位于上海,在上海建有一座300mm晶圆厂和三座200mm晶圆厂。在北京建有两座300mm晶圆厂,在天津建有一座200mm晶圆厂,在深圳有一座200mm晶圆厂在兴建中。中芯国际还在美国、欧洲、日本提供客户服务和设立行销办事处,同时在香港设立了代表处。此外,中芯国际代武汉新芯集成电路制造有限公司经营管理一座300mm晶圆厂。

About Us
Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation ("SMIC"; NYSE: SMI; SEHK: 981) is one of the leading semiconductor foundries in the world and the largest and most advanced foundry in Mainland China, providing integrated circuit (IC) foundry and technology services at 0.35-micron to 45/40-nanometer. Headquartered in Shanghai, China, SMIC has a 300mm wafer fabrication facility (fab) and three 200mm wafer fabs in its Shanghai mega-fab, two 300mm wafer fabs in its Beijing mega-fab, a 200mm wafer fab in Tianjin, and a 200mm fab under construction in Shenzhen. SMIC also has customer service and marketing offices in the U.S., Europe, and Japan, and a representative office in Hong Kong. In addition, SMIC manages and operates a 300mm wafer fab in Wuhan owned by Wuhan Xinxin Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation.

SMIC’s Design Support services prepare customers’ designs for production, using proven technologies to allow improvements in chip complexity, performance and functionality, while reducing power consumption and optimizing die size. Career Development
Every employee aspires to career success, and in order to achieve it they take the initiative in learning and growing. Employees work with supervisors and human resources staff to create a customized Individual Development Plan (IDP) involving on-the-job training and classroom training. An online e-learning system is also available for employees to acquire knowledge during their downtime. For employees in technical and engineering fields, a dual-track career development plan is designed for them to become an expert in their field or work toward a managerial position.
